Who We Are
A lab run by a clinician who learned to build, not just prescribe.
Dr. Vasan's HC AI Lab is an independent research and development group building applied artificial intelligence for healthcare — spanning diagnostic imaging, cardiac signal analysis, and the clinical workflow software that determines whether any of it actually reaches a patient.
We are deliberately narrow in method and broad in scope: every model is built for one clinical question at a time, validated against real outcomes before it is called anything more than research-stage, and designed from the start to sit inside how care actually gets delivered — not around it.
Every missed diagnosis I saw at the bedside was a data problem before it was a tragedy. I didn't want to wait for someone else to build the tool — so I learned to build it myself.

Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Vasan is not only a visionary in the field of Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, Cardiology, Nutrition, Longevity and Neuroscience — his penchant for technology, AI in particular, led him to self-learn Data Science, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning, and to develop innovative algorithms in healthcare. He continues to engage in hands-on research in Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) and healthcare workflow orchestration.
